GPL Vault recommends that you don’t use download managers whilst using the website.
Download managers send multiple requests and create multiple connections to the server in a short space of time. The server has no way of knowing that the traffic is being generated by software and so each connection will count as a download.
Because we have a download limit of 20 items per day in place for monthly subscribers this means that if you have the multiple connections set to 2 then you will reduce this daily download number to 10.
We understand that not everyone has fast broadband speeds but please bear this in mind. Most files are quite small, they shouldn’t take a long time to download.
